    Hello from ohio

Welcome. I'd like to know more about the Super Bee. I'm a big fan of late '60s B bodies.

    Good adjustable receiver hitch?

That seems like a complicated fix for a problem I've never had. What do you tow and what are you towing with that's improved by using that?

    Good adjustable receiver hitch?

I've got a B&W Tow and Stow on my truck and I've been very happy with it.

Am I crazy? Workshop Expansion Worth the $$$

Can you do the addition in such a way that you can convert it to a bedroom or other interior space when it's time to sell? That could make the long term financial aspect more reasonable.

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Mid-Century Moto Mecca Makeover

I sincerely hope that you find a way to keep your photo career going until you're ready to retire. Both for you and because I think it'll be a loss to society if we no longer benefit from the artistry that you and other photographers create.

Wacky idea of the day - suction down vice stand

Interesting idea. The failure mode is concerning. I also wonder about the need to have a vacuum pump running whenever the vice is being used. I think you're going to want a short stiff seal. Perhaps even something that's flush with the surface until vacuum is applied and ***** it out of the...

    The Mileseey XTAPE1

Interesting. My concern is that I do the type of work where I'd use a tool like this sporadically. I'm wondering if I'd have to relearn the thing after not touching it for 8-10 months and if that relearning would negate any benefits.

Advice for a machine to weld aluminum

I was really happy with my Syncrowave but when it died recently I bought a HTP 221 and it's a better machine than the Miller ever was. A lot of that is the difference between a transformer machine and a modern inverter but some of it is the build quality. It's really good. I don't think you...

Trailer Ramp Pivot Pin Replacement Material Selection

Heat 24/7 or only when in the shop?

Recovering New Yorker here. I always kept my shop at 55f when I wasn't out there. That meant that I didn't need to find another home for paints and other temperature sensitive stuff in the winter and I didn't have to deal with freezing cold tools. It was expensive however. You'll have to...

    Tiny screws

The smallest screw has a major diameter of about 0.020" which means it's likely a 0000-160 thread. Based on the age I'm thinking watches.

2025 Ram Promaster factory wiring questions

I haven't looked but I would expect there to be an upfitter's manual that would help with those questions.

    custom auto AC lines

McMaster-Carr has some aluminum elbows but they're pipe size not tubing size so you'll have to look at the dimensioned drawings to see if anything will work. I've made my own elbows by just drilling intersecting holes in aluminum block. You can even add mounting holes to secure it somewhere.
