Subaru usually has a lift point up front on the front crossmember, normally just behind the oil pan and under the steering rack. Rear I've always lifted using the rear differential. Both obviously for floor jacks.

I've used the Astro kit for maybe 50-75 brake jobs so far, and been pretty happy with it. Better than the loan-out kits from the parts shops, and hasn't been missing an adapter that I've needed yet. A little light oil on the screw threads every dozen uses or so is all I've had to do.

I have that set, and I've been slowly replacing all the bits that break/strip/turn to butter with bits that aren't terrible. I should probably just buy the Titan set at this point

We used them as an intermediate step. 20/30 gallons in the rolling oil drain, and use the shop air to drain it into 55gal or larger storage drums. Then we had a waste oil guy come who would pump out the drums and haul it away to be recycled. If you're only doing low volumes, its probably not...
