Granted I used that ratchet every day for those three years. I've noticed the "comfort" features and grips on the big brands like Matco and Snap-on also take a beating. I'd rather skip all that and go with all metal.
I've owned these tools for about 3 years now and would like to give an update.
I only own the 3/8 flex head ratchet, a socket set, an extension set, and the u joint.
Ratchet lock and release no longer works. Sockets fall off easily and they can be pushed on without pressing the release button...
The flex shaft will eventually break but its a $30 part and easily replaceable. Word of warning, I just had the bearing in the head of mine explode today, gouged the shaft pretty good. When I disassembled it, it was bone dry inside. I don't see a grease zerk anywhere and can't really imagine it...
