    'Hidden' gun safes?

I had completely forgotten about this one: When I was very young my father had a friend that he did long range shooting and reloading with. This friend had drywalled the bottom 2 feet and the top two feet only, in a section of the house wall. He had concealed hinges on the top of a section of...

Apologies for a slight detour. Dont know what bearing preload is so forgive my ignorance. Why would a "click" type not work? Some facet of the job? Thanks for the education!!!

    where to buy OTC tools

I have gotten about half of mine from carquest (like the post above, sometimes it takes a day to ship to the store), and the other half from the Cornwell truck. If you can wait a week or so, Amazon really does tend to have the best prices. I assume that if Carquest can get the full line, Napa...

Looking at a few places this weekend

I vote option 2 as well. You will appreciate the room as the kids grow, and the garage/shop is there already. Sounds like this is your first trip through the home buying mill. Get a buyers agent. The agent that lists the house works for the seller as a commissioned salesperson. Human nature...

Best tool you've ever found in the street

Tape measure with a pretty bad case of road rash, craftsman 1/4" deep socket set with the ratchet still in the little blow molded case, neon green matco pick, and a badly chewed up stanley phillips screwdriver.

Top 5 Tools Every Man Needs

+her twin sister. You should always have a back up for your most commonly used socket size. Never know when you might break one getting a rusty nut off! :lol_hitti

    HF tool box combo

Got mine in June of this year. I had to have the vertical storage in my one car space. Seems to hold the weight well, and isn't as "tippy" as I had feared. My only complaint would be that I would like the shallowest drawers to be a bit deeper. Seems like a good value for the price paid.
