    Pressure Washer

I haven't tried to fire it up yet, I wanted to make sure there is nothing pre-startup I could do to insure nothing bad will happen to this borrowed machine.

    Pressure Washer

I guess I should have said that as well, that was one of the ones that was on par in my mind with swapping the 2 year old gas. But thanks for looking out for me.

    Pressure Washer

I have a pressure washer that a buddy left with me when he moved up north and couldn't store it anymore. He told me to feel free to use it, but it has sat for about 2 years unused. Other than swapping out the fuel, is there anything I should do before I fire it up, or things I should look for...

    Proper Terminology "hot water heater"

The flip side of this is what gets me. I see it on Craigslist all the time, someone will put "I'm trying to sale my toolbox." You are trying to "sell" your toolbox, you have a toolbox for "sale" argh. This^^^ And this^^^

    DIY'er starting collection

Sorry I thought you were talking about tools in general. I know there has been some talk about their quality going down recently, but I have a full set of Klein screwdrives that I love. They've stayed quite sharp for going on 8 years now, and while they don't get the use they once did, they have...

    DIY'er starting collection

If you keep a good eye on eBay you can find some great deals on full craftsman sets for a good deal. A few years back I picked up a 300 piece professional tool set for $250 on eBay, still in box, that kit retails for around $700. If your patient there are some killer deals out there.

lets see your garage radio or stereo

I've just got the old Bosch box, bought back in '04 and put it through hell when I was doing construction, now it's got a nice little retirement hanging on the wall, still sounds great.

How do I know if someone replied to my thread...

When you post a new thread there is a drop down box at the bottom of he screen that allows you to subscribe to the thread, and should notify you every time someone reply's to that thread. I don't know how to do it retroactively on this forum, but that's how to do it on new ones.

    Tool Cabinet

That is awesome, I wish I had the skill set and equipment to machine stuff like that. Great job!

    The "pedestrian" garage

Sweet shop man, I just went threw all 54 pages, jealous for sure. The vintage craftsman stuff is killer, I wish I could find stuff like that around here, I scour Craigslist and never see anything that nice. Good work!

in the market for a nice flashlight

Almost every firefighter I work with carries at least 2 either streamlights or pelican lights. That should tell you something about their ruggedness. I've had mine in more structures fires than I can count and it hasn't melted and still works great. Plus they both have EXCELLENT customer...

What do you do in your back yard shop to make money?

What color tool box to buy?

I have red, but only because it was a hand-me-down, personally I really like the look of the white with black trim, I've seen a few of those on here, and man they look sharp, IMO. If I had the money to buy a new big box that's what I'd get, sure it's harder to keep clean, but its like a black...
