Just acquired a bunch of Snap-on and Craftsman wrenches/sockets that had a little rust on them. I cleaned them up and they look practically new! This was a 3 day process, but I'm finally finished!
I could see this in a chemistry lab in the 1800's, possibly raising a heat source to a beaker or a flask. Either that or it's an ancient alien device used to circumcise alien babies...
My boys (3 and 5) think that my tool chests are their toy chests. They love to tinker and check out all of the different kinds of tools that I've got. Now, if I can just find my hammer that they had, I'd be happy! Gotta love them!
I spent a lot of time in my early teens in our shed. My dad had some basic tools, including a Black & Decker jig saw and corded drill. The jig saw and drill opened my eyes for some basic, but creative projects. I could build a box like nobody else! Haha, I miss those days...
