Excessive slop in new Snap on TLL72 (extra long 1/4" sealed)

How about a carnivore that enjoys fine cuts of high quality Wagyu beef and is happy to pay the premium but doesn't enjoy wasting time chasing down the meat truck? It will save me having to buy wobble drive extensions- the 3/8" kit was $140Us so you might be onto something!

Excessive slop in new Snap on TLL72 (extra long 1/4" sealed)

LOL at privilege! That's not really what I'm after, having to chase a truck down for an hour or two across town to give someone money! Let alone to deal with an owner/operator who becomes snap on god. It's strange that some consumers consider it a privilege to go through the hassle, for a...

Excessive slop in new Snap on TLL72 (extra long 1/4" sealed)

Well - Chased down the truck, quick inspection revealed that it is genuine, it does have some slop, comparison with some of his had some slop. Tried tightening the screws, were tight, asked about a rebuild kit, was told it wouldn't help and to buy one once it starts slipping [$30 kit] [$145...

    Extension cord reels

100' wire in the wall will be a 'solid' copper rather than thin gauge 'stranded' which gives greater flexibility but not ideal for carrying the same amount of current. the 100' coiled up in your extension reel will also heat up, so better off lying on the floor!

Excessive slop in new Snap on TLL72 (extra long 1/4" sealed)

Thanks for clarifying, will try get the kit on Monday when in town or order one . Though, looking at other replies it appears I may have expected more than possible from these ratchets. The reason I'd bought it was I'd got a new sealed dual80 3/8th as the old one was feeling tired even with a...

Excessive slop in new Snap on TLL72 (extra long 1/4" sealed)

I work away from home and we don't have the luxury of rolling snap on truck salesman at work to try out tools but, I'd incorrectly assumed the new TLL72 long 1/4" ratchet would be equal to the existing T72 1/4" ratchet I own, just longer! Not inferior. I don't think I should have to chase down a...

Excessive slop in new Snap on TLL72 (extra long 1/4" sealed)

It was brand new, it feels like the slop is coming from the axis being able to push in and out a few mm, I didn't want to put a kit in it yet but I'll try chase one down. The reason I buy online either via snap on official and l or eBay is that I hate the thought of wasting my time trying to...

Excessive slop in new Snap on TLL72 (extra long 1/4" sealed)

Hi All Anyone noticed excessive play in the snap on TLL72? Are these a rebadged XYZ rather than a SO ratchet? Comparing it to my older Snap on 1/4", 2X Bahco 1/4" and Gearwrench120 and even the sloppy old Stanley 1/4" this brand new $120 unit is sloppy as it gets! Really disappointed as I...
