I decided to visit the store again today. They were very apologetic, one of the guys told me flat out that the man that does the testing is "an unreliable P.O.S." :headscrat . They do all of their own testing at another location. I asked if someone could light a fire under his *** to get my tank...
If it stopped making noise it is as fixed as it needs to be. No oil light on , no knocking and no bubbles on the dipstick. You would think whoever is driving that old clunker probably can't afford a big dollar repair. I bet they are quite happy with that repair.
They don't offer an exchange fee for an outdate oxygen tank. The tank needs to pass the hydro test , otherwise it is only worth scrap value according to them. How much is the exchange fee on an outdated tank for you guys? I brought them an acetylene tank that was outdated and they just swapped...

This was my first roadside vise find, my wife looked at me like I was losing it when I turned around, when I pulled up to it she just shook her head. Do you know if the craftsman has a date stamp?

It is nice to see some fellow NY people here, thanks for welcoming me in. To you guys in Syracuse / central NY. I will be turkey hunting near Norwich next week, I will be trying to steal some good craigslist deals from you guys while I am there.
Here are a few pics of my first anvil. It took a lot of scrubbing to find the name. Its a TRENTON 128. I assume that means it weighs 128 pounds? If anybody has any additional info such as ,when / where / what it is made of and quality it would be nice to know. Btw I paid $50 off craigslist a...
