LIFT DOWN! Any experts on Atlas lift cylinders?

Agree, had an issue with our 12 year old in-floor scissor lift. Called, described my issue, he asked "what color control board". Two days later the new controller was in my shop.

    Music sources in the garage

Apparently with the south doors open my shop functions as a very efficient horn loaded speaker. While visiting at the hardware store yesterday the neighbor 3/8 mile across the creek valley commented "been enjoying your run through the Pink Floyd catalog."

    Cut 50F Plasma

Saying goodby to an old friend! This was my first plasma, purchased as part of the GJ group buy years ago. It's a survivor. Given the amount of 1/2" plate I cut over the years the magic smoke should have escaped long ago. It's going to a good home, hope it serves them well for many more years.

The Home/Hobby CNC Plasma Cutting Thread

I'll join in for this discussion hoping to get some good ideas as we go. My original plan was a JD table, something I could cut prototype parts with for the repair/modification of our aging farm equipment, and then send the file off to my steel supplier to cut the bulk of the parts. After...

    NewAge Products $5K Giveaway!

I'm in. They would be a great addition to our recently built 3 stall garage. The daily drivers are still in shock after dealing with the elements for the past decade.

    Overhead doors and critters.

The lower seals of our shop doors have been damaged by small mammals. They chew thru the corner nearest to wooded habitat. We have farm cats but there is only so much they can do, they do love to deposit their nightly catch on our back porch. I need to replace the seals, wondered if anyone has...

    High Quality Battery Terminals

"Quickcable" cast copper terminals, heavy glue filled shrink tube and the Temco crimper listed above. I prefer the stud style terminals when possible.

PEX confusion - is this just marketing?

Wirsbo A is my go to. Have used in our shop, outbuildings and several complete house projects. For occasional projects the manual expander is fine, usually available on ebay for $100 +/-

    Help me pick a welder!

Aluminum intercooler piping - sounds like a job for an AC Tig unit. Steeper learning curve but much handier than a mig spool gun. DC tig for the exhaust piping and light fabrication. The Lincoln should handle the on-site 3/16" work for your porch. Primeweld 225X for $869 gets my vote.
