It's known in the business as rotten cotton! And as stated in the post its fiberglass! My opinion is its just nasty stuff to be around.

Your driveway looks the same level as the garage floor! You may want to cut the asphalt back and pitch it away from the front of the garage to a new drain. Than you can take the drain pipe through the wall and out to the back yard....If not you need some kind of sump pump set up.

I was told by a few older fellow workers that pouring coke cola down the pipe sometimes loosens stuck wire in pipes. Never tried but what do you got to loose

I tinted My floor. I could show the results with pics? It cost 600 bucks extra. 200 bucks for the die and 400 to clean two trucks. The results didnt look so good on a steel trowel floor.

I agree 14/2 s to small! I wonder if the black extension cord wire was a replacement?

If the jacket is marked whats inside they dont have to mark the wire. Your are nut case I`m out!!!!!!

Hopefully this is a residential garage not a commercial garage.The wiring methods change. He should have a disconnecting means if its not with in site of the breaker.

He has to enter the JB with a connector! He can strip the jacket off inside the JB enter the lfnc via the JB. I dont know what the violation is?
