    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

Black Bike, Thank you for the help. I'm still hunting for a 25% coupon, but will settle for the 20%. I don't recall the auger ever being on sale either, but thought i would ask. Did you get the optional 6" auger with it? I will be using it to put up a pole barn and plant some trees. Thanks...

    Cupola framing

This is an interesting design which uses two trusses, one for the first floor and one for the second. Looks to be doable.

    Cupola framing

Here is a shot of a grain elevator with the same style roofline. The windows would go all around the cupola section. Obviously mine would not be as tall, probably just 8' studs like normal.

    Cupola framing

Yes, I know what a stereo typical cupola is with the wind vane on top and all. The building I showed has more of an industrial look, with the cupola the full length of the roof. I just didn't know if it had a name or not. I think ArmyVW Guy might have it, thank you. I won't be parking cars...

    Cupola framing

Is "Cupola" the right term for this type of design? I want to do some more research online, but want to make sure I'm using the right nomenclature.

    Cupola framing

I guess it kind of resembles a grain elevator in the midwest too, not sure how they are constructed.

    Cupola framing

I wish i could get inside the one on the base there, but it is locked up. They were built before WWII, and appear to be of stick construction. The two doors would be on the 32' side.

    Cupola framing

I'm going to be building a 12x36 shop with two garage doors and a man door in the middle. I will also be replacing the windows in my home and want to use the old ones in this structure in the cupola. My vision is to have almost a solid row of windows all the way around the cupola, with maybe...

    Freebie vintage Sears table saw

Jack, There is a pulley on it. I actually ordered a pulley and new belt from Sears last night ($50). I pulled the motor apart today and blew all the old saw dust out of it. Put her back together and fired her up for the first time in many years...smooth and quiet. I also printed out the...

    Freebie vintage Sears table saw

My neighbor was throwing away/donating a vintage Sears Craftsman table saw. He offered it to me for the price of "free" and i jumped on it. It looks to be mostly there. It does need the pulley and key on the motor side, but other than that everything works and nothing is bent/broken. There...

    1946 C-man drill press... worth $65?

I'm looking at this Cman drill press and was wondering if anyone knows about what year it was made. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/tls/3763580868.html It says it is a model 150, so not sure how that stacks up against the other older craftsman models I have seen on here. Is this worth it...
