When i said polishing some parts, I ment with sandpaper down to 1200.

Just make sure its very clean before you start the process. I used a cleaner-degreaser after either polishing some parts or wire wheel others. After first coat, wash off with water then lightly rubbing down with steel wool. Repeat until you get the darkness you desire. I did 3 coats of gun...

Appreciated. I took fine steel wool and brushed it down after each coating till the 3rd one.

Machined this vise for a bigger set of jaws and fixed her up a bit. I know its no collectors addition but they are fun to pull out of the trash and fix up. Also picked up a couple new ones this last weekend. A nice little 103R Reed and a Rock Island.

Ive made a little progress on 3 of these vise. Got the handle and screw made for the Parker 63 1/2 and fixed the wilton up almost ready for paint. Finished the Holland Duplex as well.

Got a pair of Kerney & Trecker Mill vises restored and finished this morning. Got them mounted up on my mill!!

It only had one speed when I found the Barker. It needed to slow down considerably to use any sort of cutter. I thought about using a VHD but for cost, a pulley system seemed the way to go. Took a bit to figure it out but ended up with an 8 speed pulley system. Got the low speed down to 900...

Im not sure what your looking at but there is a lathe, drill press, Barker horizontal mill and a Bridgeport!
