    Ratcheting wrenches???

Hated them until I replaced them with the reversible set. Fine tooth is a must as well.

    Sears Craftsman work benches

Agree on light duty. I had one for a few months, sold it and just built my own.

How much did those snap on gloves set you back?

M18Fuel 1/2 Impact broke first day of use

Maybe just a bad batch. I traded my ct7850 months ago for a milwaukee. I have been more than pleased with mine. By the way I also just bought the bare tool.

    Beginner home mechanic questions

You could maybe get away with buying the socket set and renting the tools from your autoparts store. Brakes aren't that big of a deal. The ac is where you might do some research and see if your up for the task.

If you only had $400 for tools what would you get?

Start with a craftsman mechanics tools set that has 1/4,3/8 & 1/2 drive sockets and ratchets. But of course I would wait until said item is on sale. Then fill the gaps and extra hand tools from HF.

Great price considering that set is $99 at reg price. Is it USA or China made?

    Does anyone use crowfoot wrenches?

Re: Does anyone use crawfoot wrenchs? Only once for a ps line. But it was a lifesaver.

First REAL Tool Purchase When I Was Younger

Busted a cheap 3/8 ratchet and cut my knuckles in the process. Bought a 154pc craftsman set. It made a huge difference. Also first time I had all my sockets and wrenches organized in blow molded case and not just in a box thrown in.
