I just finished the epoxy on my garage. I used a grinder with no shroud. It DEFINITELY made a lot of dust, but without the shroud, I was able to see where I was grinding a little better. It worked out for me. Just make sure to wear a respirator.

Very nice. I thought I was lucky with 4 spaces. Definitely jealous of your 6!
