Floor grinding corners with 4" makita angle grinder.

I just finished the epoxy on my garage. I used a grinder with no shroud. It DEFINITELY made a lot of dust, but without the shroud, I was able to see where I was grinding a little better. It worked out for me. Just make sure to wear a respirator.

Very nice. I thought I was lucky with 4 spaces. Definitely jealous of your 6!

Thank you Mr Smith. Now for gore pictures. For those of you with weak stomachs, look away (actually, they aren't bad). As you may have inferred from my post, I cut my finger pretty good. Here are the pics:

    Shakie's 2-Car Chop Shop

Thanks Gerard. I posted this in the flooring section as well. Not sure what the rules are, but I wanted a complete thread for the gallery and just the flooring section in the appropriate place. Sorry if this is annoying. Here goes the continued write up after the clear yesterday, as well as...

    Shakie's 2-Car Chop Shop

OK. Been a little bit since an update as I had to find some time so I could do the Epoxy. Got a full kit from Epoxy-Coat.com. Light gray with clear coat and white, blue and whisper gray flake mix. Grinding: I wanted to grind instead of etch as it seems to be the preferred method. Ordered a...

    Epoxy-Coat & Legacy Industrial Garage

OK, now I'm convinced. Now I think I need a primer. I went on the advice of epoxy-coat.com and did not order a primer. I will be grinding next week on Friday and starting my epoxy process (one base coat and clear) Saturday. I moved into my house 2 months ago, so concrete was poured roughly...
