    Scissor Lift Sale Questions

Really so what kind of value do you think it has if not $7K? I paid 7K and I'm going to put the new duracell batteries in it. It's a Genie 2632. It's quite a beast.

    Scissor Lift Sale Questions

Hello all, Quick question: I am selling a used Genie 2632 Scissor lift. I bought it for $7,000. However, the batteries in it are now toast. They won't hold a charge for more than a moment. Should I buy new batteries and try to add that to the cost of scissor lift or should I sell it as is for...

    Welding Table Height Adjustment?

I have leveling feet that can also raise and lower the whole assembly but it's only a few inches I can raise it off the wheels. Not enough to dramatically change the height between a sitting and standing position.

    Welding Table Height Adjustment?

That's not a bad idea either. I think my local home depot has one of these. Next time i'm down there i'll snap some pictures of how the mechanism works. Might be simpler than the rotisserie method. Thank you!

    Welding Table Height Adjustment?

Yes that's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. I found a ton of videos on building these rotisserie's. I should be able to figure it out from here.

I know what that cable hoist looks like Electric Hoist but how exactly would you use that to raise and lower a table?

    Welding Table Height Adjustment?

I do have the posts tied together with a massive beam so I have that going for me. "Hydraulic cylinder with a slave cylinder? Cable balanced like you'd use for the bed of a hydraulic press? Screws with a shaft driving both - think landing gear for a trailer? Tube connecting a pair of parallel...

Beginner question on removing mill scale

For real, these are wayyyy better than flap wheels. They don't remove material unless you really go to down. They're great for paint, mill scale, rust. I stopped using flap wheels, too expensive and don't do a great job at hard mill scale. You can even get these paint stripping wheels in packs...

    Welding Table Height Adjustment?

I am fabricating a small welding table similar to the one in the picture. How could I add a height adjustment to it? There are two posts on either side and I've been trying to figure out a clever heavy duty way to raise both the posts such that I could TIG sitting or standing. I don't want...

Framing: Plywood Sheathing Interior? Can't reach exterior walls. (Metal Buildings)

Looking for some advice. I'm curious what is the best solution for structural sheathing where you can't reach the exterior walls. For example: Building quarters inside and up against the existing walls of a metal building where the metal building already has metal siding and insulation. When...

    Siding 2 story building questions

Can someone help me figure out my siding for this building. I've already sheeted the first 2' feet horizontally (from concrete/grade) with Pressure Treated Plywood. Then I have 8' foot sheets vertically placed above that. So now I'm at 10' Feet. What I'm wondering now is should I add an 8'...

    11'6" PT Plywood Arches

I did think about that. But doesn't bending rebar require torch work or at a bending machine to roll that correct contour. I don't think can be accomplished with just trying to bend it by hand right?
