Check out Socket Roll if you're still looking. I just got one to put in the trailer and it seems well constructed. So far I like it but all I've done with it is fill it up and put it in the tool box.
I also have on of those with the same problems. But I used a sealed battery for low maintenance (I thought). I'd like to know more about bypassing their charger and hooking up a smart tender. I'm not terribly literate in the world of circuit boards and such.
Thanks.
Great thread! Great garage! Great, Great, Great,......!
Some amazing stuff you've done here. Can't wait to see what's next.
I got married at Philo Presbyterian a few years ago (my wife's from Champaign and knew the Pastor). Small world.
Thank you for doing all this work to let the world to see.
I also meant to ask about mounting your tool box and vibrations. Did you add anything to dampen vibration in the tool box? Any concern about vibrations beating up the rollers/bearings in the drawer sliders? I know you said you were only doing short trips but...
Nice work! Great ideas, especially using the generator door to load fuel. Keep 'em coming! I'm struggling with fuel location also. I have a 24' Stealth that I use to haul my FFR Challenge Series car.
You work pretty fast too. I got mine in '14 and so far I've insulated the walls. Big plans, no...
I'm looking for some more wrenches for my race car trailer. Ideally, I'd like to find a set of 13/16 - 1 1/4 wrenches. I'd rather not buy individually. Not ratcheting or stubby; at least regular length, long is OK.
Anybody know if this unicorn exists?
Well, I went with the let 'er rip philosophy but found some of my stuff in the freezer slushy yesterday. I didn't check the freezer temp at the time, the garage temp was 45F. A few weeks ago I set the thermostat in the fridge to the coldest setting figuring that it would be less than 45F that I...
I just bought a 15.5 cuft top freezer refrigerator to use in my garage and I'm wondering if I need to find and install a "garage kit" for it. I keep my Chicago suburbs garage "heated" to 45F in the winter but don't have AC in there yet.
Is 45 warm enough that I would not need to put one in...
