Cheap "house brand" from the 70's and 80's. Buffalo had their name on everything from electric drills to bench grinders and whole array of hand tools... all Japan or Tiwan made junk.

I don't think they're all that out of line. For one, they are made in Germany and the German workers are paid a decent wage. I think what everybody is used to is China prices, which are unbelievably cheap... if tools were still being made in the USA I think they would be priced very...

The Bessey K-Body Revo clamps are made in the USA. Home Depot stocks the 24" & 50" sizes.

The Festool OF1400 Router comes in a stackable modular case (as do all Festool tools) and also comes with 8mm, 1/4" & 1/2" collets. Here's my small collection of Festool Systainer cases awaiting moving into the shop...

I switched from the plastic Craftsman rails to the Kobalt Aluminum Socket Rails. I like them better because they don't flex & bend like the plastic rails and they're longer. Lowes doesn't sell extra socket clips, and while the Craftsman clips look awfully similar, they are too large and...

Looks to me like you're missing a part of the table. Maybe it was made to be used with a router lift?

Here I thought I was the only one who likes that style - I have a few of them... When I'm working on something with different size bolts I usually set them up so that I can change ratchets instead of trying to swap sockets. Never felt the need to upgrade them.

Too bad could have saved you some time, the Snap-On catalog has the sizes listed -- -- the "B" column gives the size you want, even if you're sockets are a different brand the overall size isn't going to vary much.

Sears used to offered custom laser etching on some socket sets... 2-lines, 12 characters... based on the price of the personalized and regular 50 & 180 piece sets it seems like it was about $.25-.30 cents a piece.

The problem with personal recommendations is that few, if any. have used or own all the brands made, so we recommend what we use and like. That being said, I'll throw out my suggestions... You can't go wrong with Snap-On -- even at twice the price of other recommendations we're still not...
