If it were just me it would be silence, but I rescue so have kennels on the back wall of shop. Music seems too help calm the dogs so my music is on 24/7. I have music to calm your pets on Ipod plugged into sound system. I usually seem to just block it out.
So a few days ago my 94 Exploder quit running. Rolled it into the shop today and found the crankshaft position sensor bad. Half an hour and a couple scraped knuckles later and the daily beater is ready for another 250000 miles ...I hope.
Slightly off topic, I was on a job in China, offshore drilling rig in dry dock for rebuild. Lots of cutting, grinding, and welding going on. The indigenous personnel onsite were required to wear hard hats, it was a firing offense to be caught without one. They were mostly dressed in shorts...

Actually he came out of a puppy mill, whelping pens too close together and ***** in next crate tried to pull him through wire, pulled his arm off. They threw him away and he became my best buddy.
You had your red to common in the old switch and 2 blacks together, so your red probably goes to the fan. The 2 blacks..probably 1 hot and the other to the recepts.
I would have 12' walls instead of 10'. More electrical outlets, figure how many you need then double it!!:sad:In retrospect I would have added more lighting, although that is relatively easy to correct. Larger doors.:thumbup: I had a 6' overhang porch on back, I should have had it 10' to 12'...
Never stop learning. Listen to what others tell you but don't take their word for it. Technology changes rapidly, try to stay ahead of the herd. Do what you love and never work a day in your life.
