Wow what an ordeal and so much has changed in products and install practices. They are earning every penny - and then some. Seems like our contract number was low for amount of crew and time.....team is doing excellent job and very happy....

Just purchased a restored 1957 south bend 16”x 48” - can’t wait to get back to house Saturday morning.

Hello all - bought a 1957 South Bend Drill press off Craigslist. For 100.00 I thought it would be a fun project to restore. And the seller misspelled “Soyth Bend” So I got it for 100.00 after no other callers for two week. Haha When I’m done - it will look like last pic.

also - run hot water around bottle and leave in bucket with hot water for a bit. Makes it flow a bit better.

I’m sorry for reposting pics. Does the lathe do everything you ask of it or do you have the need for more Lathe after owning for a while?
