Thanks for the response, I was just wondering, did you do the oil based stain just for looks or do you think it helped with waterproofing/durability? Would the polyurethane be enough?

I'm in Canada, northern Alberta. The floor is new but the garage isn't. Wanted to make an old garage usable so I jacked up the walls and built a floor to put the old structure on. I just put in a new pressure treated 3/4" plywood floor in a small single car garage. I'm wondering what the best solution would be to protect the floor from water, snow, and salt - to make it last longer. I was looking at some epoxy paint options. Any suggestions?
