I picked one up on black Friday, and yes the quality is leagues above the standard duty boxes.... I would say the quality and fit & finish is on par with the HF44 top/bottom set
and at $349 plus $50 in points (real cost $299) thats 1/2 the price of the HF44 set
41in Heavy Duty Chest and Cabinet Combo - Black Friday special $349.98

So many beautiful Gerstners, I love the workmanship, they are works of art
and many other "Practical" wood storage solutions

Behold.... my garage cabinet made entirely of plain plywood, screwed and glued (no...

here are some previously posted weights of competing lowers (roller cabinet only, no top) for comparison:
Rock River 42"--256.8 lbs.
HF 44"--245 lbs.
Husky 41"--204 lbs.

Me too, the new Pro Series seems really tough, looks like the next generation of their EDGE series which are top-notch but very expensive
the styling of the new PRO series looks like the Extreme tool boxes...

Sears Premium HD 42" set is $800
Harbor Freight HF44 Combo is $600-650 depending on...

I just hope they don't reply with "just buy a used Snap-on for $2,000 on CL"
those early Craftsman boxes were solid high quality all the way
Sears really cheapened them up in the more recent years as they moved manufacturing overseas
It looks like they may be returning to their quality days with their latest line
Made in the USA
the fit and finish looks to be vastly...
