    Snap On KRSC430 Modification

They have 2 monitor types on the slide top based on age of the unit. I do not have the older monitor number but I can grab the one off my split top tomorrow. Also, the flip lid cart has a smaller monitor to work in the space available. I'll post that up as well tomorrow.

    Recommendations for Tire Inflator/Gage Assembly?

I've bought 4 of these Milton s-506 in the last year and each one of the Milton are 5 psi or more out of calibration. None of my employees like using them because of this. Sadly they lack the quality they once had. I bought the blue point unit with round dial gauge and it is much better. Plus...

New Polar Air 120 gal compressor problem

The company has been great to deal with on my 10hp emax when it had a tank valve failure out of warranty. They were quick in sending out the part free of charge. I had ordered a oil and filter service kit at the same time and had it all to my door in 1 day. I will buy another unit to replace...

really disappointed in my Snap on MG725.

I've have all the magnesium impacts from over the years. The mg725 was good when it came out but now falls short at normal psi. I run all my stuff at 160 psi and they really wake up. I also never used the mufflers supplied as they really choke off the performance. I did buy the pt850 when it...

    Snap On KRSC430 Modification

Here is the monitor mount on the scanner station and the back of the krsc split top. You will have to drill some holes for the monitor mount but it wouldn't be a big deal.

I'll try to get pictures tomorrow of my Zeus cart and my krsc split top and post them up.

    Which Auto Repair Shop Software?

Alldata has a tablet system that has obd integration. We do not use that as I have separate scan tool systems that function much better.

    Which Auto Repair Shop Software?

We use alldata manage online at my shop. Great for us, and integrates with quick books online. Also use their alldata repair for repair info. Less than 300 a month for both. You can talk them down on cost with a little negotiation. I believe you also get a discount if your part of the AutoZone...

    Bubble Insulation on Roof

A better idea is to use polyiso foil faced foam board placed and taped down first, then have the metal tin roof screwed down over it. It's more effective for insulation value and function in the long term. That's how my wick building was built back in the late 80's.

Old Mac Tools Box: possible to fit ball bearing drawers?

Took a quick picture of mine today. Only gets used now for storage of electrical supplies and my hydraulic flaring tools and other odds and ends.

Old Mac Tools Box: possible to fit ball bearing drawers?

I've got a box that looks just like that. It was my first tool box I bought used way back in 2002. I used to lube it with grease. But now I've used super lube last time and it's working great.

Snap-On tool boxes - differences and street price

Epiq is deeper and also has the lift type latch built into the front of the drawer. Master is what the krl boxes are called now and they are still really good build quality. They are almost as deep as an epiq, the main difference is the latch system. The safety latch is under the drawer...

    Rotary Lift Install Questions...Leveling Columns

Use a hydraulic cement type grout to pack under the base plates when you get the height set. A trowel and a little elbow grease is all that's needed to pack it under. After it cures, it allows full baseplate contact to solid surface...

    The Green Snap-on Tools ****

My driver dropped off my new zeus workstation this week. I traded in my verus edge workstation. The zeus is definitely more responsive when compared to the edge. I've had the edge since 2016 and it served me well, but the new workstation is sweet in the extreme green, something that was not...

    Napa Deals

The carbide scrapers work great. I've got a snap on version and it takes minimal effort to remove gasket material by back dragging. I'd recommend them for any toolbox.
