I want the m18 fuel hammer drill and batteries. Should I do the 2.0 + 5.0 kit for $199 that's going live on 5/24 at home depot, or get the 2 3.0's from Northern Tool and do the return hack at home depot and just keep the drill?
I think the total for 2 3.0's and the drill would come out to $196...
I think the HD surge deal is better. The toolup looks like a1.5 and a 2.0, not two 2.0s.

The bag looks nicer...

I get like 15 minutes with a 9.0. I use two 9.0s and switch off when it dies.
There's a blower kit with two 9.0s if you don't have the blower yet- https://www.toolup.com/Milwaukee-2724-21HD-M18-FUEL-Blower-Kit_2
I think these are new deals at Home Depot. Some of the free m12 tool deals seem pretty decent. The gen2 impact starter kit with ratchet for 169 is tempting.

Oops I thought I was replying to the thread about the trimmer combo. This is the Gen 1 blower. I have the Gen 2 120 mph blower and definitely wouldn't want to give up any power. The Gen 1 is also bulkier.
I saw Acme's deal then went to CPO and thought it was the same. Dang. I'm glad I waited a while on the blower+trimmer deal though because I got it for $280 now that Acme has the 20 off 100 coupon.
