A few pics of my garage..

Looks great. Good luck on the project car. The Grand National is still one of my favorite body styles for a car.

    My garage Addition

Was 35', now 47'. BTW, I like your Impala. Nice job keeping it...unfortunately, most of us sold our first cars.

    My garage Addition

Thanks. I watched as you built your garage...very nice. My Raptor is a 3110TT...not a car hauler, but a toy hauler. The addition was specific to contain the trailer. It is amazing how nice, pretty much new, a trailer or anything will remain if it is kept covered. I don't mind dumping a few...

    My garage Addition

Got a new Toyhauler from Santa last year. Nice trailer, but my garage wouldn't accomodate the length. Here are some pictures of the addition so far. The only thing I've had done for me the footings/foundation that a good friend did for me. The brick work has taken me two days so...

    What NOT to do?

I'd go deeper on the bays and a higher ceiling and doors. My ceiling is 14', the doors 12'. Two more feet higher on both would allow for almost any trailer to be parked inside.

    Need help with Garage Modifications

There are some really good comments and suggestions provided here. You all have me in heavy thought about the modifications to the front. Utimately, I won't really have an exact understanding of what I need to do until we get rid of the snow in Salt Lake. However, I think it may be possible...

what is the best material to put on walls

I'm using 7/16" OSU with a 1x4 trim against the ceiling and on the bottom...no tape on the joints. I'm painting everything with a good white latex after primer, then putting a blue strip along the top with a red and black stripe on the bottom. It is durable and will look nice.

Thanks for the response. While your looking at garages, be sure to note all the things people do in them and list what your intentions are, then go add a few feet to that so you will have room to grow. I built this garage for the tasks at hand at the time of build, nothing for the future. It...

    Need help with Garage Modifications

It will look a bit different, but I don't think it will be all that bad. Regardless of appearing a bit different, functionality is absolutely required. Storage elsewhere is too expensive and inconvenient. A few thousand dollars is easier to swallow.

    Chick Needs Some Help!

Just in case you haven't been told this enough...you're a champ for doing this for him. My prayers go out to your whole family, including your husband, for all of your sacrifices while your husband is away.

    Need help with Garage Modifications

Problem: I bought a new trailer that is taller and longer and won't fit into my garage. I have a 12' high door and a 14' ceiling in the garage. I want to install a 13' high door. One of my concerns is that my garage is 100% brick over the framed walls, therefore I have to remove the brick...
