@04Cummins ... 2/0? I ran what I thought was a voltage drop calculator and got 3/0 as minimum AL in conduit with a 3% voltage drop ... are you thinking a greater drop or did I screw up the voltage drop calculation? I used this calculator => Voltage Drop Calculator Thanks ...

The local power company is running the wire across the street to my new pole. I don't know what wire that 100' run will be. On the pole I must provide a 200amp meter loop... The run to my bldg is then 180'. You don't think 4/0 will suffice?

To answer RCman's questions ... Voltage? .. it's a woodworking shop ... most are 220V 20Amp machines, 1 rarely used 22V stick welder(50Amp) and the the rest are all 120V 15amp (all single phase) The transformer is across the street ... 100' to my "new pole" Pole to panel is 180' Bade
