Great idea and well executed! Can I ask what’s the deal with the giant saw sticking out of the wall and the massive fasteners on the cabinet?

I always figured it was there to allow swiveling of the head without having to support its weight manually. If your table swivels out of the way I’m not sure why you’d have to move the head without changing its height though.

That's kinda what we thought, sort of like a mill. We tried doing that in a 1x2 but it seemed like it wasn't aggressive enough to do anything but smooth the hole out. Maybe it was too soft :dunno:
