Started this morning with a light sweep and vac. Got all my materials ready.
Painted the curbs. And started wheeling out the floor.
Coat one done. Man this stuff is rough. Even with a respirator.
Now to let the floor dry over the next 9-10 hours. Will likely do coat two...
Sanded the epoxy filler, god damnit that sucked. And rinsed the floor down one last time and wet vac’d.
Tomorrow I’ll be giving it one last sweep and vac.

Filled a lil more crack. Had an extra tube… might as well use it.

Edit: if anyone has the need to sand Sikadur crack fix, you’re going to need at least 36grit to rip through it. 80grit produces the same results as essentially scotchbrite on stainless.
Decided to fill some more crack today. I had an extra tube so might as well use it. These are maybe a lil bigger than the odd hairline crack, so why not. Scraped over the epoxy to level it with a scrap piece of sheared aluminum so I have less sanding to do.
I also filled over a few of the chips...
Used some Sikadur crack fix mixed with some sand as filler on the cracks and chipped out areas of the pad. Not looking for perfection, just no big cracks.
To be fair, I was going to use short strand fiberglass filler but thought this might be better.

Door and window casings trimmed up and painted and installed.
Degreased and Acid washed the floor today. Utilized 20% baume muriatic from work. And mixed 2:1 to erode the trowelled surface. Seemed to work very well. have roughly a 80-120 grit surface profile. I’ll be washing the floor again...
ESAB makes a decent wire, Ive done hours and hours of manual and robot weld development with their purus wire. We achieved better results with Lincoln L56.
Lincolns technical support also excels over ESAB... food for thought.

Likely those end mills are around $30 a piece new from a machine shop supplier.
It’s whatever the market will bear at this point. The influx of cheap tooling for hobby machinists is astounding. So these may be a tough move - depending.
