I always pipe in with critical sounding admonitions, but I love the work you're doing. Some of the layout on that first board looks pretty tight. This is the tool I use for roughing my panels. It accounts for matching grain direction as well, which is easy to forget about when you are trying...

ABS can have issues outdoors with UV light, the butadiene breaks down. You may want to pick up a spool of ASA which is much more resistant and is the go-to for outdoor printing.

The very useful Japanese pull saws for flush cutting (zero set so they don't scratch the surface) are called Kugihiki (釘引) and can be found at specialty Japanese woodworking shops or online from Lee Valley (Veritas) or Woodcraft. I once got a measurement wrong on a complex bit of cabinetry where...

Honestly I haven't yet got on the multifilament train, the way I do color infill is super labor intensive and involves modifying the g-code to print the infill first, then swap filament and z-hop the first few layers of the body to avoid collisions. I imagine generating and printing multi-color...

Just want to throw my version of that depth stop out there: https://www.printables.com/model/694937-festool-domino-metric-and-nominal-presetter I've been known to wrap a couple layers of tape on the cutter bearing to 'rough' the cuts, then remove it for the finish passes...

This seems the right place to post about this. Some of you may know about Tuksedo Studio from the excellent video posted by Hagerty or on Instagram. In the middle of nowhere, in the heart of Bali Indonesia, a boutique coachbuilder has a team of hands on trained employees making the most...

I slept on it, it was bothering me. My brain doesn't like not having solutions, again you can just ignore this but I needed to get it out of my head. Since you are using a linoleum top layer the weak edge of the curve needing to sit a few mm proud to be flush already makes it stronger, but...

Love the lines, finishes and the font used, but man, that kerning needs work.

These pictures give much better detail, and I agree the lines look good there. The shelves are balanced by the inner and outer walls so they float in space in a very attractive way, the penetration of the top two shelves by the inner walls is also a very clean detail. Your design doesn't seem to...

Good call, real high quality baltic birch is a pleasure to work with. I'd strongly suggest redrafting your design using the measured value of the new panels, the adjustments you caught making the prototype may not properly apply when cutting your new panels, and if you can stomach it, you may...

There's some mythology amongst machinists/metal workers that woodworking has much looser tolerances, but I've never found that to be the case in any meaningful way and always shoot for 0.1mm tolerances. I'm so much happier using metric measurements as well, all the Imperial lies (2"x4", nope...

The adjustable dowel hanger foot rest detail is wonderful. The second sketch is lovely, the cutaway to the foot operated easel tilt and the flowing shelves. For low profile backlighting, LED edge lit film panels are as flat as it gets and can have decent uniformity.

Not only rounded on the front, but it seems to extend out in little ears to be flush with the outer edges of the side panels. I was going to suggest doing this, but you had already cut the shelves so it was a little late (and a complex cut.) I like the idea of the stainless edge giving it...
