My personal and professional lives are similar in that they have always involved machinery and tools. I started my professional life as a mechanic in a service station. I am fortunate to have spent the last 40+ years in the auto/truck/equipment industries. Despite the fact that I haven't worked as a technician for the last 40 years, I maintain my skill level by sneaking off to a dealership or technical training center when no one is looking! I now spend my personal time involved with auto transformation/rebuilding (late 60's, early 70's muscle cars) and home renovation. Never enough time.
