they make a plaster washer to repair loose plaster, its like a fender washer but has a little shape to it so the drywall screw sits flush. They work great for foamboard. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008AY2MS6/?tag=atomicindus08-20

    Carport style garages

spray foaming the underside of an open sided carport also works great to keep the radiant heat away if using it as a patio cover. After it gets some age to it and the paint starts to get a little chaulky the condensation will rain down on your car and stain it, spray foam also eliminates that.

    Pole barn entrance low

you state that from the middle of the floor to the door slopes 20" and then at the door you have a 20" lip. I don't think your explaining yourself correctly to get your answer because by your description your main floor is 40" above grade of you foundation.

    Concrete to Metal siding?

unscrew the wainscoting pour your slab then cut the wainscoat to length and reinstall with j channel at the bottom. A plus to this method is theres no chance of it getting ruined with splashed up concrete slop.

2 post lift, getting arms to rise evenly?

I have a Atlas and its leveled by the cables, since its new you also have to make sure all the air is out of the system. Usually running it thru several full cycles will purge it . I got mine so both safeties click at same time.
