Looking for a high quality mini 1/4" ratchet. Hazet vs Ko-Ken?

If you can find an old Hazet 863F they are pretty smooth. Had one for many years. Smooth back is nice as you can put pressure on it with a thumb or finger when turning.

    Pole Pruner

I use a similar version of one of these. Probably from the 40’s or 50’s. Works fine.

I need a PCB vise. Recommendations?

Those boards look pretty small. Fabricating something like this would probalbly be too large. Take a rubber finger lab clamp: Remove one of the the fingers: Attach it to a NOGA arm, does not necessarily need to be the on pictured, you could fab something else to hold the clamp a bit more...

    Laser level

I know how you feel. Bought a Bosch laser level in preparation to installing a backsplash in my kitchen. Only to find the counter was not level. Great. Did find several other uses for it however. Building shelves, built a deck, leveled my stove cooking top, embarrassed to say I even used it to...

Thanks for posting! Always had a soft spot for Cornwell. Lots of USA made with a unique company history. Have a industrial finish 6 point metric combination set that is my go to.

    Bench top belt sanders

Still a work in progress, since the photo I’ve mounted it on a dedicated stand. FB marketplace purchase, it was in a box disassembled. It’s an old cast iron Toolcraft brand. Not super heavy duty, but stout enough for my needs. I added: 2hp 3 phase motor / driver. (Still has a good bit of torque...

Share unique tools others may not know about

Dowidat 20-23mm open end wrench with a brass “hammer” attached. Not my photo, I have one in my toolbox however. Purchased at an army surplus store back in the late 80’s. They had several. All 20-23mm Recall reading this wrench was some sort of military procurement.

Overall contour and lines somewhere closely resemble a Paramo, not exactly the same but there is a resemblance.

Show us your Belt Grinders or Sanders

Still a project in progress. Old Tool Kraft 6x48 sander. Box of parts / no motor when I picked it up from FBMP. Added a 3 phase motor/ Automation Direct GS-2 motor driver, chain drive, support bearing. Not a heavy duty sander to begin with so the motor size / chain drive might be bit overkill...
