Been quite busy with the new kiddo, so haven’t had as much time in the shop. However, with the holidays near, I’ve decided to upgrade my older young’uns train table to a proper desk/table. My guess is for now, it will replace his lego table. Here’s what he currently has...
If you are putting plywood down, then yes on vapor barrier... I was thinking you were doing gravel only. If gravel only then I wouldn’t, but otherwise gravel, then sheeting, then plywood. Hope that helps!

Definitely no on plastic sheeting - otherwise you would have a gravel pool of water gets in. Water (what little bit may get in) should drain nicely under the gravel helping keep it dry. Sorry to hear about the power and such ... glad you and ours are safe and we’ll be thinking of y’all as you...
