    Looking for a M12 Tool

I've done a LOT of work with my M12 Fuel circular saw, probably more than it was designed for since it's my only circular saw at the moment. The ONLY drawback is depth of cut especially at 45 degrees. If you do rip cuts in sheet goods or cross cuts with 2x dimensional lumber you'll be fine...

What would you consider appropriate run-out on a new router?

I recently picked up a Bosch for around $200 and there is no vibration even at the highest speed setting.

    Ultimate 1/4 Ratchets

Try out the GearWrench 120xp. I have the standard 5", flex head chrome handle 6 3/4", and flex-head soft handle 8". I own about 10 other 1/4" ratchets and always grab one of these.

Best small torque wrench for the money

The $10 Harbor Freight 1/4 torque wrench is dead-on accurate, but the click is not audible and is barely felt. You need some practice with it to get a feel for how the tool works or else you'll over-tighten everything. I used it on a plastic valve cover with aluminum bolts and it worked great.

    New ICON box

Some irrational types such as myself prefer new. I'm just a home-gamer with a 44" US General but I can see myself making a poor financial decision to buy one of these in a few years.

    Torque wrench question

It's due to the design of all click style torque wrenches to "exercise" the spring for more accuracy but I have the Icon 1/2" and it was accurate within 1% without exercising the spring. It might be a good idea to do it if using it in really cold weather though.

Forgot to turn the torque down to zero on torque wrench: calibration out of whack?

Buy one of these to check it: https://www.harborfreight.com/12-in-drive-digital-torque-adapter-63917.html The technology used makes them extremely accurate, even the cheaply made ones.

    Best *Reasonably Priced* Ratchets

The sets seem overpriced for what you get. But this ratchet was $36 plus tax.

    Best *Reasonably Priced* Ratchets

Update: The Wera Zyklops 3/8" metal ratchet came in today. Feels solid, nicely balanced, small head, fine movement with not too much backdrag and little to no slop. The only downside is that it is not serviceable. If it was possible to get some SuperLube in this thing to minimize the already...

    Best *Reasonably Priced* Ratchets

I'll hop on board the 120xp bandwagon as well. I first purchased the 3 piece standard set, then the 2 pieice 1/4" and 3/8" flex head comfort handles, now I'm looking to buy the 4 piece flex as well as the fixed head long versions with the 24" 1/2" drive ratchet. They are all different lengths so...

I checked a couple hours ago and it found my order but now I'm getting this message. Order was placed...

    lowes sunex and gearwrench deals

I had ordered axle nut sockets from Amazon for $60 yesterday. Just ordered the same thing but Sunex brand for $26. Also picked up a set of Gearwrench metric reversible ratcheting wrenches even though I just got a set of 120xp non reversible wrenches less than a week ago. I won't be complaining...
