Hired a local company who did it. They used the Purepoxy product.
Extremely happy with how it all turned out. And I have definitely put it to the test over this winter. So clean, and easy to wipe up any spills, mess, snow/salt melt. Wish I did it sooner to be honest.
So I moved everything out of the shop after 4 years of working in it… that was a mission and something I have been putting off for years.
However, I got so sick of the dust created from the concrete. Especially having an open mezzanine/office that would just collect the dust on all surfaces...
My shop is 48x56, so it is bigger, but I think that the logic of lift placement is the same if not more important for your smaller size.
I put mine in the middle bay. this allowed me to have room on either side for whatever I was doing on the hoist at that time. Wheel over the welder, or tool...
I have that exact 10k asymmetrical Bendpak and love it. This is also my crew cab 2500HD Duramax on it with no issues.
The ONLY thing is, I currently load my ‘69 C10 on backwards, because it has no weight over the rear since the box has been pulled off and the frame was stripped on a regular...

I posted above you stating this is where I got my inspiration.. and now that my shop has been built for a bit, it would be cool to see how mine turned out compared to where I got the ideas from... Too bad the pics don't...
Guess I can update some pictures of the office that is mostly done.. for now.
Still have to install a septic or holding tank so I can finish the plumbing, and then I'll be able to finish the kitchen up here, but at this point that will be a spring job.
I still need a fridge too I forgot...
As for a little update, I added the 32' of wall shelving above the work bench, hung the cabinets over the "future" welding bench, and started getting my gym equipment and bike tools set up.
My little guy "helping" with my bike gears...
My trail bike and work stand are here temporarily...
I didn't like it either. And still don't LOVE it, but I have come to live with it. It isn't nearly as bad as I thought at the beginning.
Every single person who sees it in real life seems to love it (and 95% of them see no blue), so it must just be one of those colours that shows differently...
