Jumping in here for future notes haha just did a deal on a kr1000 and kr1010 combo today, biggest question is how do you get the drawer out on these? They appear to be bolted in to the slides and no release mechanism.

I'd vote HF of the two options you listed, mostly for expandability and accessories like the trays,glove box holder ect.

MAC makes a very nice anti stripping Allen set, work like a charm for me when normally itd strip. Looking at you dodge caliper bolts, 3/8th Allen and always rusty.
