    Wasn't paying close enough attention when I un-twisted the wire nuts from the old oven...the wiring from my house uses aluminum wires, with black, red, blue, and unshielded ground. Both ovens have black, red, white, and ground connections. If I were to guess, I'd connect white to...

    I don't know what came over me... The batteries are cheaper, but I seriously doubt a craftsman will last 3 years of frequent use.

    just came across this thread, and decided to register... fwiw, the 10.8v Makita uses basically the same batteries as comparable 12v drills (e.g. bosch, milwaukee, craftsman nextec)...the 12v is PEAK. Look at the torque ratings, and you'll see the craftsman and makita are pretty much the same...
