Has anyone tried the Magclip socket caddies? Are they any good?

I was just concerned about buying a box that was 15 years old and from my understanding, bearing slides are the way to go and this one I believe has friction slides. I know the specs on the other boxes are comparible on paper. I have never actual seen a snapon box. This would be a sight...

I am I correct in assuming the KR 560 (15 years old) has friction slides? Also, are the older snapon boxes built like tanks?

I am looking at purchasing an old snapon tool box that has the friction slides for the drawers. How do they compare with ball bearing slides? Are they as smooth when pulling out the drawers?
