The lift would be more for storage with easier maintenance being an added benefit. I've currently got a car collection of 1 but would hope to add something else in the coming years. Plus being able to sneak my wifes dd in there when we have a storm forecasted would be nice (I'm in upstate NY)...

I should have mentioned - i live in a notoriously strict town for any sort of permitting so getting a shed approved would be impossible. I don't plan to weld but good call on the outlets. i believe the height limit is 16 feet before I need a variance so 12 feet might be pushing it on the ceiling.
