Made some progress - did the install of the main structure and got it bolted to the piers. I was pretty pleased everything was pretty much plumb and level as-built so I didn’t need to really add any washers underneath the baseplates. A friend is a professional painter and is going to spray it...

It was! I knew it wouldn’t be the end of the world if it was 3 phase, but I didn’t really want to have to get a VFD and a big modern box on the side of a vintage saw.

I've done two. Once for wife's aunt and once for SIL. First time was with the holder and a breaker. I was literally hanging off it to get it to budge. Second go around I had my milwaukee mid with the heavy socket and 5.0 battery and that worked amazingly well.

Haha, we tried that for several years and it was just too hard to keep everything organized. But I am a sucker for automation and integration stuff also, so I didn't push too hard to keep trying the manual method.
