You can buy small spools of SS wire fairly cheaply. Or, as stated above, you can just weld it with the wire you have and deal with the rust. If you are using "MIG mix" AKA C25 it will work for both wires. Strait CO2 leaves a kind of crappy finish on stainless.

Jasco paint and epoxy remover. Wear gloves and goggles, it will burn you. Needs to be semi warm out, it seems to not work well under 70*. We used it regularly at work to strip powder coated parts.

Same here, keeping the toy hauler indoors during the winter months cuts out a lot of work.

Any avocado groves near by? If so, the rats will be back. Out there you more than likely have grove rats. Those things will get to be the size of a small cat. I lived of Lilac for a while. We had groves all around, keeping the rats out was a 5 cat job. Even then we still put traps out.

Also, what kind of welder? Small MIG will run on a 20A breaker. My TIG welding aluminum will pop the 50A no problem. The new shop will get a separate 100A breaker for the TIG.
