I vote P! You get a better selection of 3/8 socket sizes which are commonly used. 1/4 sets are constantly on sale in various brands. IMHO 1/4 could be just about any decent quality brand and still be effective based on the lower torque values of smaller fasteners.
3/8 is the bread and butter...
Hamilton TWP is a good area. I was thinking NW instead of NE. A quick look at their zoning makes me think you won't have any issues with a well built structure.
My township can be rather draconian because we are near Westchester which saw such rapid expansion that business was next to...
"What Twp?"
And what county, Butler or Hamilton?
Beware that some townships in NE Cinci are pretty "uppity" and will be all over what you are building. Some are much more rural and agricultural still.
A few miles can be the difference between your 50'X60' being OK and NOPE! The townships...
One trick I use is to stay clean is to use a large amount of hand lotion all over my hands, wrists, and scraped up under fingernails BEFORE I start working. Put it on and wait a few minutes. Use enough that your hands are still oily because no more will soak in. After a few minutes wipe off...
The Tekton set you linked is 1/4 drive. Between those two I'd get the 3/8 Kobalt set. The Tekton 3/8 set includes a universal in it for same $. I go with Tekton.
I hung a large heavy bag from my rafters by screwing a 2X8 across five rafters to distribute the load and using an eyehook in the middle of it near a rafter. It's solid. you could probably do the same thing. Spread the load over more than two rafters.
I just won a big battle with them on my carport. I started with a tip to use WD-40 on them. I got the long flex nozzle can and stuck it as far as it would go in every hole and sprayed all the way out. That killed at least 50 of them. They started coming out quickly and looked like a duck in...
If you are replacing them and they are properly sized (correct overhangs), then absolutely take good accurate measurements and order the same size. Many places insist on sending out a estimator to measure before selling to you. Take photos and measurements so you can show the salesperson that...
Same here mike! All but the 6 decades. I'm about half way through my fourth. That's plenty long enough to remember Big Bobs from Hyde's and Dixie hamburger. Straight down RT4 then turn right at the big chicken! I never got chickens from Danny's or went to the Dixie Electric Co. but I still...
