I like your press. C-O was dissolved in April 1942, and my press has a War Production Board tag on it which dates it from January to April of that year. Mine seems to be the last model made.

Last night I bought a Canedy-Otto Royal 16" drill press out of a closing auto body shop. It has a Baldor 1/2hp single phase motor, 6 foot column, two tables, and all the original parts as far as I can tell. I spent $100 on it. Good deal or not? I'm going to restore it and stick it in my garage...
