I used FRP as a back splash for my garage sink. I would glue it up before you hang the fiberglass slop sink so you can just silicone caulk the edge of the sink to the FRP.
I have that set and have no complaints. Used them to install grease seals last week in a disc brake conversion. Didn't really check anywhere else for price comparison - I needed them, bought them....
I have to confess I thought Craftsman screwdrivers were top notch before I came to GJ lol.
So with that out of the way, I have that HF set and they work pretty good. They seem to grip Philips heads better than my old Craftsmans do.
Any PVA primer will work. Usually use glidden from Home Depot as its relatively cheap and there's not much difference when it comes to PVA primer between brands.
I have that same exact box (was my fathers). Think its a late 70's model. Not sure if they make the drawer clips as it looks like you are missing a few but they're easily made from a piece of 20guage sheet metal if you have a grinder and some shears... Had to fab one up for that top center...
Torqueman, you mentioned you "throw away the original grinding wheels" . Is that because someone was "side grinding" or are they just likely to fail from old age?
Just picked this 1/3 hp beauty up off CL. Eye shields still there and the light works. Gonna clean it up and put it to work. Anybody know a paint color that's close to this original factory color? My last one I painted with a hammered bronze.
