    @G-ManBart... this is great. Slide is the whole round unit, there is a keyway cut in the bottom on the slide and on that is a key that is pinned there with two pins, and sometimes has a date stamp on it... I was confused eralier about "under" it etc, thinking I had to remove the key to look at...

    that must be the case... perhaps the runner was replaced at one time as I just looked under a mag glass and really not seeing even the faintest # stamps...

    ahhh right there, on it... yes I do not see any (even faint) date stamps on the runner which is pinned down onto the keyway (slide)

    this is the slide? See my poke pin tool going down inside one of what I think are two little pins holding the slide in the keyway (no better word to describe?)

    I (miraculously) removed the inside vise nut pins, and so removed the nut, and even more miraculously, reinstalled them... I knew right away that was either going to work or be a complete disaster... but removing the slide is a puzzle to me.

    Hi, thank you, when you say, "bottom" of the slide, do you mean that I have to remove the slide to look underneath? and if so, how do I remove the pins holding the slide in place, (they are hollow)... do I need to drive them out? I took the whole vise apart yesterday, and cleaned all old...

    Hello everyone… hope it’s ok to post right here. I have a Wilton 9300 and it does not have a swivel base… just a round base with two 1/2”holes at 4” apart. Does anyone know if it can have a swivel? And any leads on sourcing a swivel base? Thank you! Jesse
