    Superior Walls

I have a poured concrete walls in my current house which is 4 years old. I am not impressed. They have cracks all over the place. Superior walls are manufactured inside in a controlled enviroment and are custom made for your design. They are insulated and already have the studs in place which...

Was this just close to ther furnace or the entire run?

    Loud Heat and AC

The returns closer to the furnace are louder of course. There are four returns throughout the house. One bedroom (medium), one family room (medium), one in den (small), one in dining room (small). The only solution I think would be is to replace with flexable ductwork like what is used in for...

    Loud Heat and AC

Upstairs unit is very quiet, you can hardly hear it. The unit is in the attic so all round flexable ductwork is used to the vents and returns. Downstairs is very loud. Turn up the TV if you are watching it loud. All the ductwork and returns are square/rectangle sheet metal. What makes things...

Water leak where water pipe comes into basement

How should I seal this up? Lots of rain here in the northeast. Had a monsoon the other night and after 1.5 years in my new house found a puddle in the basement. I think it is coming from here. Looks like two PVC pipes with the water line in the middle. Pretty sure in between the concrete and the...

    Two garage doors into one

My current boat is 84" wide and the opening is 94" since you loose some inches due to trim. I can pull the boat out and put it back in while attached to the F-150 supercrew. It is still like threading a needle. You need to be perfectly straight. I can tell you 1" is not enough even pushing or...

    Two garage doors into one

Not if you plan on putting a boat in the garage. A 8' door greatly reduces your choices. Very few boats will fit through a 8' opening which isn't a full 8'. Framing is fine on my garage. Inspectors are VERY **** around here.
