Be sure to look at the used market. I picked up a 50" Mac Tech Series with an SS top for $2700CAD pre pandemic. Box was in great shape bar a bit of rust on the bottom edge where the PO knicked the paint and our lovely Ontario road salt got to it in a wet shop environment.
Most of the used stuff...
I'm in the GTA too brother, I sympathize with you on that one. Changing the upper rad hose on an F150 in -25C weather with the garage door open is NOT fun.
Sunex. 3351 is the Metric master set. 7-22mm in deep, shallow, and swivel. $125USD
Dunno if you can really beat that, Sunex makes great stuff too, I have this particular set.
From the local Princess Auto. Still some decent stuff if you take a look around.
Bondhus SAE hex key set, small Osca machinist's hammer, and an Osca Evo soft face hammer, made in Italy.
I've ordered some power tools from Construction Fasteners & Tools. Good service and decent delivery times even all the way from Sask.

My new to me Tech Series box. Picked it up recently from someone getting out of the trade. I'm just a home gamer so hopefully this will last a long time for my use.
Discovered a bit of bubbling paint in the bottom corner seams when I brought it home, kinda bummed about that, but such is life...
Are you using a wobble adapter or socket? They really don't transfer a lot of torque. If you were on it straight with a regular socket then I'd say those bolts are really stuck! I've taken off caliper bolts on my F150 that were torqued to 184lb-ft and sat for a whole year through a salty Ontario...
Picked up an M12 XC 6.0 yesterday for $89 CAD at home depot down from $123. It was even cheaper than the 4.0's they had right beside them!
Will pair nicely with my 3/8 stubby.
Definitely take the 2861 mid torque into consideration. It will cover 90% of your needs on cars and light trucks, and it's much smaller than the 2767, while still having 600 ft-lbs of breakaway torque (according to milwaukee).
