Used Snap-On electric impact - Bad idea?

Yeah nice, that's the size and form I'm looking for. Looks like it might be the 2454-22 now? Also if there's anyone else that makes one like that, well then I'd have some pricing options. I'll check to see if dewalt or the others make one like it.

Used Snap-On electric impact - Bad idea?

I really like the form of the 3/8 snap-on electric impact. I like that it's small and narrow. And I like that the battery goes up inside and isn't a big mass on the bottom. So I figured I'd check ebay, but man they all look like they've seen 9/10 of their service life. Probably a bad idea to...

Harbor Freight 4th of July Sale

It's been a long time since I've checked up on harbor freight... they used to be the laughing stock of this board. Has anything changed? Has the quality improved, and if so, by how much? I went in there one time and I didn't recognize a single brand. Stuff like Hercules, Bauer, McGraw, and...

Which toyota adapter for this brake bleeder?

In case anyone searches in the future, the Mityvac one worked great. No issues, and didn't have to buy an adapter that costs more than the tool. All I did was follow all instructions on that Car Care Nut brake bleed instruction video.

Utility cart as a tool cart?

Are you Rubbermaid guys talking about the really big ones like this? After looking at all these carts, I realize that I don't know how big it should be. Some of the ones suggested seem kinda narrow, like you wouldn't have a lot of room to work if you needed to for some reason.

Utility cart as a tool cart?

I'm considering using a utility cart as a mechanic's tool cart. Not professionally, but I do most of my own mechanic work. I've been reading threads on the subject, and some people say plastic might be better cause you get less dents or scratches on fenders. And the plastic carts are less...

    Old Craftsman Tool Cart

It seems more important to have a lot of dividers for bolts, than to have a lot of drawers. So you don't mix up your water pump bolts, with your alternator bolts, with your AC mounting bracket bolts... you get the idea.

Which toyota adapter for this brake bleeder?

Might as well use this thread to ask another question - What do you guys use to clean up your brake tools? It occurs to me that you may not want to just leave brake fluid sitting in all the lines and fittings of your brake equipment. First thought would be water. It would of course merge with...

Which toyota adapter for this brake bleeder?

Seems like his customers would frequently be coming back complaining of poor brakes. Air in the lines ain't a fun time iirc

Which toyota adapter for this brake bleeder?

Yeah I'll just buy that one and send this canister style one back. The vacuum idea is better anyway cause you'll never need any adapter. All you do is siphon out the reservoir and then fill it up, while making sure it doesn't go down too far when you're pumping. Vacuum method seems like the...

Which toyota adapter for this brake bleeder?

So I got this OMT brake bleeder off amazon and of course the recommended 42mm adapter doesn't fit the brake reservoir. It's screw on, and the 2018 camry hybrid has that other thing they call "twist" or push lock. It functions similar to how a radiator cap does...

Hvac and insulation guys I need some advice

I did exactly what he said, it's not at all difficult to measure the difference between the intake and the vents. The rest is me answering the other questions from the thread. You maybe misunderstanding...

Hvac and insulation guys I need some advice

Well it stopped working altogether, and the local AC tech replaced the capacitor, and now it's working again. Don't know if that would be a contributor to running most of the time though. The delta is 13 degrees between the main sucker and the vent that's furthest away from it. The intake near...
