    Lisle pistol grip brake spreader

I bought this off the Snap-On truck and just never used it. Any wear is from being knocked around in the workshop. $30 shipped to anywhere in CONUS. PM me to claim it.

Who makes this valve core tool, and where can I buy it?

AWESOME! Thanks guys! We were pulling our hair out trying to find another one of these tools. When it hit me to ask Garagejournal I tried to make a bet with one of the technicians that I could have a new one ordered by the end of the day. He didn't take me up on it... guess he knew the power of...

Who makes this valve core tool, and where can I buy it?

Hi all, We've been using this valve core tool at the shop for years. It just broke today. There are no visible markings on it. It's not listed in the Snap-On website or the Cornwell website (the two dealers that service our shop). It's not on Craftsman either. None of the local parts stores...

    hex and torx bit sockets

I was at Sears today and I briefly considered picking up that $40 set of Torx sockets. Both sets they had on the shelf had at least one socket where the bit was not concentric with the socket. In other words, totally and completely unusable. :headscrat

Knipex at Lowe's: End of the road? Or...?

FWIW I was in Sears yesterday and they were surprisingly well stocked on Knipex pliers. I was surprised to see them at all at Sears. :dunno:

US-made tongue-and-groove pliers are called Channellocks... anything else is an imitation

Is this tool box deal of the week?

I was at Sears a few days ago to warranty a broken tool and I stopped to look at their toolboxes. They SCREAMED "cheap." Out of all the boxes they had on display, I couldn't even find one where the drawers actually lined up square with the frame. :headscrat
