    Engineer/vamplier, Hard and not hard...?

Engineer is a Japanese brand, think (99% sure) they produce Vampliers for Vampire Tools. http://www.engineer.jp/en/products/pz58e.html http://www.engineer.jp/en/products/pz59e.html

Yeah, all of the older push through stuff is good (from all the German brands). The few times the newer Elora stuff has been mentioned on the net has all been extremely bad. I.e. teeth wearing out in less than a year. Might opt for Koken as well as everyone seems to rate them highly.

Nice. Here is a used set and a little bit different. Still use them sometimes when I need a 12 point. Anyone know the quality of Elora ratchets? The general trend on here is that they are not as good as their spanners/sockets but I want to try something different to Hazet/Stahlwille/Gedore.

Kiruna-Slipen grinder. Made in Sweden I think? A little dirty and dusty, also looks like it's been dropped on the motor side. It was free, and it works, so I can't complain.

I've seen them mentioned a few times on here, and everything I've read has been positive. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

Felo heavy duty. Used to remove the jaws on a vice I'm restoring. One screw on each jaw came out fine, the other two are stuck solid. Anyway, tried to hit them loose with a 1kg club hammer on the end of the felo, ended up obliterating the screw head. The head of the Felo held up...

    Scored a Paramo No. 5!

You could try making some jaws yourself with some steel bar. Record jaws are available to buy in the UK, I assume you could source some that fit. I think the Paramo no.5 is exactly the same as the Record no.5, however I believe the record uses screws to attach the jaws, so perhaps I'm wrong. Is...

Need cold weather, high dexterity gloves...

Second this. I work in a warehouse, usually around -5 to -10 celcius in the winter and I use the double glove method. I can pick up boxes/parcel bags, untie knots, unlatch small locks, and other things. There are times I have to remove my gloves, however usually not often. I use a very cheap...

    Tools from the old world

Knipex and most European manufacturers (at least German ones) produce handles similar to the channellock style as well. Such as: It's possible to find some without handles at all and just the bare metal from the 80s/90s and older but I'm not aware of any company that makes them presently...
