    Shed floor rotted

I've got a couple buildings with a gravel floor. Hasn't rotted away yet.

    What's the minimum stud spacing for a 12 x 12 storage shed?

It's $50 that's not ******* in a shed if there's no reason to put it there. The shed I pictured earlier is 8x12 and I had $170 in purchased materials. Even splurged for new nails. It's doing a great job keeping the mower and some other junk out of the weather.

    What's the minimum stud spacing for a 12 x 12 storage shed?

What are you siding it with? I did 48" centers on this one

    Truss repair

No idea about that one, same as you. We as a society seem to be more and more ok with just throwing everything away when it is no longer up with current fashion. It's a trend I have a real problem with.

    Truss repair

Many are decent, liveable houses. Just seems nuts to simply tear it down.

    Truss repair

Plywood pieces are too small and not fastened well enough. I have built my own trusses for a 24' wide building and it's very doable. This doesn't seem like a building to turn into a house. Why not just use it the way it is and build your house somewhere near it?

    Voltage callout of 200/1/60

Equipment for 208v service is commonly rated at 200v. Using two lines of a three phase service gives you single phase.

Oue Scientific Products "relay" isn't working, any suggestions?

Post some better pictures of the contact arrangement. And also the coil wiring. I think it's a just a single pole double throw relay. It might be mechanically held though, that will be a little tougher. Need to figure out coil voltage and I hope you labeled those wires before you cut them.

    Dumb sink plumbing/P trap question

That deep of trap isn't great. At least it's slip joint so you can take it apart to clean

How hard will it be to pull 250' of 4/0 from 2" conduit

Seems light. When I get a 1000' spool of 4/0-4/0-2/0 urd I think it weighs around 1200lbs.

How hard will it be to pull 250' of 4/0 from 2" conduit

Maybe 5 years worth. Probably do a couple thousand feet of trenching in a year but I don't really think that's a lot. This year I took in a bunch of copper/aluminum AC coils. I thought I had them fairly stripped down so I was disappointed when they would only pay "dirty" price for them. Still...

How hard will it be to pull 250' of 4/0 from 2" conduit

Last year I brought in about 1100lbs of aluminum wire. It was only a few crates, I was surprised it weighed that much. I think it was around $450. $6-700 with the other stuff I brought. Not a waste of time. I've pulled 400' IN with a pickup no problem. But stuff gets stuck after it's been there...

Dented water main line on street side

It's been said before, many places the customer owns the line all the way to the street.

    Dumb sink plumbing/P trap question

Do it with PVC or abs instead of the tubular plastic. You might have a slightly deeper trap but not bad. Better than cutting open the wall to lower the whole thing.

Dented water main line on street side

I'd be tempted to have a dresser fitting with a valve attached sitting there ready to go. On the off chance that the frozen section doesn't hold, you could slap on the valve and then be able to shut it off.
